Inko Midoriya ist die Mutter von Izuku. Sie ist eine sehr freundlich Person, die sich immer um das Wohlergehen ihres Sohnes sorgt und ihn bei allen Dingen so gut es geht unterstützt. Wie es sich für eine Mutter gehört, zeigt sie für ihn auch Mitgefühl, insbesondere nachdem sich herausgestellt hatte, dass er mackenlos war. Damals tröstete sie ihn und gab sich selbst die Schuld dafür, dass er nun seinen größten Traum – ein Superheld zu werden – nicht mehr erreichen konnte.

Inko und ihr Sohn haben eine ähnliche Persönlichkeit; beispielsweise weinen beide, wenn sie entweder sehr glücklich oder sehr besorgt sind. Manchmal geht ihre Panik so weit, dass sie dabei in Ohnmacht fällt.
