Mikan ist eine der Köchinnen auf der Harekaze und daher verantwortlich dafür, die Crew mit Essen zu versorgen. In der Küche übernimmt sie meist die Führung, doch da sie dazu neigt, besonders beim Kochen, etwas kleinlich zu sein, kann das auch mal etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen als geplant. In ihrer Freizeit fotografiert sie sehr gerne und besitzt außerdem eine Vorliebe für TV-Dramas. Mit den Kinesaki-Zwillingen, die gemeinsam mit ihr die Küche bemannen ist sie schon länger gut befreundet, ebenso mit den beiden Maschnistinnen Maron und Hiromi.
