Houmei ist die Taktikerin von Seenas unabhängiger Söldnerschaft Luminous Knights. Obwohl sie recht jung aussieht, ist sie über 3000 Jahre alt, was bei ihrer Rasse, den Elfen, nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Sie war vor ihrer Zeit bei den Luminous Knights die heilige Priesterin von Seirans Tower of Rain Water, der zu den drei heiligen Türmen Liberias gehört.
Jahrhunderte zuvor versuchte Houmei die Welt aus unbekannten Gründen zu zerstören. Dafür wurde sie lange Zeit in das verbotene Land Konton verbannt. Dadurch kam sie jedoch wieder zu Sinnen und kämpft nun an der Seite von Kiriya und Seena für Frieden und Gerechtigkeit.
