Die Schülerin Touko Nanami besucht die zweite Stufe eines Gymnasiums und ist zudem Mitglied des Schülerrats, von welchem sie später auch zur Präsidentin gewählt wird.

Touko hat graufarbene Augen und lange schwarze Haare, die, je nachdem wie das Licht fällt, violett erscheinen können. Viele Menschen, insbesondere ihre männlichen Mitschüler, äußern sich häufig zu ihrer auffallenden Schönheit und versuchen ihr Herz zu gewinnen, ohne Erfolg.
Ihre beste Freundin ist ihre Klassenkameradin und die Vizepräsidentin des Schülerrats Sayaka Saeki.

Als Kind war Touko sehr schüchtern, introvertiert, ruhig und versteckte sich ständig hinter ihrer älteren Schwester Mio Nanami. Im Gegensatz zu Touko war Mio immer eine vorbildliche Studentin, die allgemein beliebt war und im Mittelpunkt ihrer Schule stand.
