Im Dienste des Hohen Rates liegt das Aufgabengebiet Delattres im Kundschaften und dem Ausspionieren der Feinde. Dabei bemächtigt er sich des Schattens der Welt und ist ein Meister der Tarnung, das Kämpfen liegt ihm allerdings nicht so, weshalb er diese stets vermeidet. Dennoch ist er von großer Wichtigkeit, hat er dem Rat doch zu berichten, dass Arawn nicht der fähige Anführer ist für den er zuerst gehalten worden ist. Aber nicht nur der Demon King wird als Bedrohung des Imperiums erachtet. Delattre ist fast komplett vermummt und neben seinen Haaren, erkennt man lediglich eines seiner Augen, wobei es nicht auszuschließen ist, dass er nur noch eines besitzt.
