Asato wechselt auf eine andere Schule und tifft dort auf Keigo. Sie freunden sich miteinander an und merken, dass sie beide aus den gleichen Familienverhältnissen kommen. Dabei hat Asato eine ganz besondere Gabe. Er kann das Leid anderer Menschen aufnehmen und weiter geben. Zwar zeigen sich dann die Verletzungen der anderen Menschen auch auf seinem Körper, aber solange er dadurch seinen Mitmenschen helfen kann und ihre Freude sieht, macht ihm das nichts aus. Weshalb er seine aufgenommen Verletzungen auch nicht so offen zeigt. Doch Keigo merkt dies und möchte seinen neuen Freund vor weiterem Leid bewahren.
