Albireo ist eine von Johns Little Chasers (kleine Verfolger) und ein Wesen, dass in der Traumwelt von John sowie nach seinen Vorstellungen erschaffen wurde und bei ihm lebt. Die Little Chasers dienen und unterstützen ihren Meister, sei es im Kampf oder Zuhause in der eigenen Traumwelt. Eigentlich haben sie die Gestalt einer Katze, doch hat Joe hat eine Schwäche für Kemonomimi, weswegen er sie auch immer mal wieder in dieser Gestalt auftreten lässt.

Wie ihre Kolleginnen ist auch Albireo nach einem Stern benannt. Der Stern „Albireo“ ist im Sternenbild „Schwan“ zu finden.
Obwohl sie ihrem Meister treu ergeben ist und seine Befehle stets ohne in Frage zu stellen befolgt, hört sie dennoch nicht auf, mit Tricks und Raffinesse (welche bei ihr nur durchschnittlich ausgeprägt ist) nach Schlupflöchern zu suchen, um heimlich faulenzen zu können.
