In dem von konstantem Bürgerkrieg geplagten Land Gilda führt Athena die einflussreichste Rebellen-Gruppierung, die Gilda Liberation Alliance, an. Als »Löwe von Gilda« will sie das Volk aus der Unterdrückung befreien - bei der Herrscherin von Gilda handelt es sich allerdings um ihre eigene Mutter.
