Yokumiru ist ein notorisch überlasteter Mitarbeiter im Heldenausschuss für öffentliche Sicherheit. Seine Aufgabe ist es, den Schülern bei der Prüfung zum Erwerb der vorläufigen Heldenlizenz die Prüfungsaufgaben zu erklären. Da der Ausschuss über zu wenig Personal verfügt, muss Yokumiru oft Überstunden schieben. Er ist durchgehend gestresst und hat sogar schon tiefe Ringe unter den Augen aufgrund seines Schlafmangels. Sein Lieblingsschlaf, so sagt er, ist der Non-REM-Schlaf, bei dem das Gehirn sich ausruhen kann.
