Nach dem Tod seiner Mutter versucht er stark zu bleiben, nicht zu weinen und sein Leben trotzdem zu genießen, ganz so wie es sich seine Mutter gewünscht hätte. Er hat alles Mögliche ausprobiert, was ihm Spaß macht, um über die Trauer des Verlustes hinweg zu kommen, doch nichts war gut genug, bis er seine Liebe zum Schreiben entdeckte. Er fing an, Light Novels zu schreiben und diese auf einer Internetseite hochzuladen. Als er dann von jemandem positives Feedback bekommt und sogar eine Illustration, gibt ihm das einen Motivationsschub und er beschließt, professioneller Autor zu werden. Was er zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht weiß, ist, dass dieser Fan seine zukünftige kleine Schwester Sagiri ist.
