Kiyohiro Suzukawa ist ein Betrüger und Kleinkrimineller, der sehr stolz auf seinen Intellekt ist und nichts mehr hasst, als wie ein gewöhnlicher Verbrecher behandelt zu werden. Um sein eigenes Leben zu schützen, schreckt er nicht davor zurück, die Geheimnisse anderer zu verraten. Aufgrund einer Reihe von Heiratsschwindeleien landet er im Abashiri-Gefängnis. Nach seiner Flucht befreit er die Gefangenen des Kabato-Gefängnisses durch eine List. Gemeinsam übernehmen sie die Kontrolle über ein nahegelegenes Ainu-Dorf und tyrannisieren die Bevölkerung, bis Sugimotos Gruppe sie ausschaltet.
