Kakushi ist der Vater von Hime. Ihm ist sein Job als Mangazeichner von Schmuddelmangas wie „Windstrumpfhose“ peinlich, weshalb er versucht, dies seiner Tochter zu verheimlichen.

Dies funktioniert jahrelang mehr oder weniger gut, bis er schließlich nach einem Unfall in ein Krankenhaus gebracht wird. Dort liegt er für einige Zeit im Koma und leidet an Gedächtnisverlust, wobei er nicht einmal seine eigene Tochter Hime, welche inzwischen schon 18 ist, wiedererkennt.

Glücklicherweise schaffen es Hime, ihre Freundinnen und Kakushis alte Assistenten seine Erinnerungen wieder zurückzubringen.
