Itou ist der Bassist in Dankichi Nitobes Band. Nachdem er kurz vor dem Auftritt beim Festival »Stadt der Musik« in der kleinen Stadt Chichibu nach dem Verzehr von Hirschfleisch eine Lebensmittelvergiftung erlitten hatte und daraufhin in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert werden musste, wurde nach Ersatz gesucht. Dieser wurde in Aoi Aioi gefunden. Das Hirschfleisch schmeckte ihm so gut, dass er es nicht bereut hat, dieses gegessen zu haben.
