Shunkai ist ein Dämon, der von der Geschäftsfrau Song Lii Huang nach ihrem Tod Besitz ergriffen hat. Shunkais Motive und Absichten bleiben lange im Verborgenen, aber es ist zu erkennen, dass es ihr egal ist, ob nun Kaiyanwang aufersteht, oder Parvati IV die neue Schreckensherrscherin wird (was Parvati aber mit Sicherheit nicht vor hat).
