On our site, new descriptions are usually written by people who saw the material or translated and manually rewritten from texts in other languages. Existing blurbs can and should be replaced by original texts. Using translation tools like DeepL and dictionaries is absolutely allowed, as long as they’re being used appropriately.

Submitted synopses have to be proofread and revised before a supervisor can sign them off. To do this in a timely fashion, we’re looking for additional staff to help us out with synopses. If you enjoy tasks like these, have a keen eye for mistakes and an innate sense for language, you might be able to help us out. We’re currently looking for proofreaders for these languages: English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Requirements:
– Profound knowledge when it comes to grammar and spelling regarding your chosen language
– Thorough knowledge of English will be helpful to make use of English references
