Fushimi und Toume sind Kindheitsfreunde und verbringen sehr viel Zeit miteinander. Sie führen ein relativ normales Leben bis zu einem bestimmten Tag. In der Schule machten Gerüchte über einen Geisterberg, den »Berg Hagure«, die Runde. Angeblich soll dort ein Gott namens »Imawanokami« gewohnt haben, der Wünsche erfüllte. Als jedoch Priester versucht haben ihn zu zerstören, haben sie ihn versiegelt. Beim Hören dieser Geschichten spielen sich in Fushimi’s Kopf seltsame Szenen ab. Um der Sache auf die Spur zu kommen, gehen die beiden zu dem Berg. Kaum dort angekommen, wird Toume von einer Dämonin namens Dakini besessen. Fushimi bittet sie, Toume in Ruhe zu lassen, aber dafür müsse er zu Dakinis Diener werden. Er lässt sich darauf ein und wird der Diener Dakinis. Nun muss er allerlei Aufträge für sie erledigen.
