Hiroko leidet unter zwei Komplexen: Ihrem Muttermal unter dem linken Auge, weswegen sie die Menschen ganz falsch einschätzen, und die Tatsache, dass sie mit ihren 16 Jahren noch nie einen festen Freund hatte. Um neben ihrer schönen und vor allem beim männlichen Geschlecht beliebten Kindheitsfreundin Tomoko nicht schlecht da zu stehen, gibt Hiroko einfach vor, bereits jede Menge ältere Freunde gehabt zu haben. Blöd nur, dass sie in Wirklichkeit in Takeru aus dem Radio-Club verliebt ist. Und dann muss Hiroko auch noch feststellen, dass Takeru bereits eine Freundin hat, bei der es sich um niemand Geringeres als ihre liebe Kindheitsfreundin Tomoko handelt. Jetzt hat Hiroko doch erst recht keine Chancen bei Takeru … oder vielleicht doch?
