Narumi Ezaki ha condotto una normale vita da liceale fino al giorno in cui incontra una compagna di scuola mentre sta parlando con uno strano ragazzo dall’abbigliamento eccentrico. Qui scopre che Mari, la sua collega, è una fan sfegatata di visual-rock e viene conivolta nella passione per la musica che la porta a diventare una vera e propir idol-fan! In poco tempo Narumi partecipa a un numero mostruoso di concerti, seguendo in particolare il suo gruppo preferito, i "7th Gate" e conoscendo il suo leader, Ichiro, in conflitto con Kyosuke, che suona per la banda rivale dei "Misfit".
