Synopsis

Yona leads a luxurious and carefree life in the palace as the only princess of Kouka Kingdom. Son Hak, her childhood friend and bodyguard, is always by her side. Her father, the Emperor, known for his peacefulness, reads her every wish from her eyes – be it beautiful clothes, delicious sweets or sparkling jewellery. There are only two things he adamantly refuses to give his beloved daughter: weapons and her cousin Soo-Won, whom Yona loved for a long time. On her 16th birthday, Yona decides to talk to her father again about Soo-Won, but on the same night, the princess’ fate is about to take a dramatic turn …
