Shirou Matsunaga wurde von seinen drei Schwestern sehr hartherzig behandelt. Auf der Suche nach einem Ausweg aus dieser Misere, schreibt er sich in einer Highschool ein. Dort trifft er auf Mirai Oda, seine neue Mitbewohnerin. Mirai, die an Geschlechtsidentitätsstörung leidet, hat den Körper einer Frau, fühlt sich sonst aber eher als Mann. Sie hat die Umstände von Shirou vorher genau untersucht, um ihr eigenes Wohl zu sichern und wählte ihn dann ganz bewusst als Mitbewohner.
Shirou versucht, das Beste aus seiner Situation machen, aber da die beiden viel Zeit miteinander verbringen, fühlt er sich langsam von Mirai angezogen …
