Synopsis

When Marie-Antoinette and her twin brother Albert make their way to France to be received by her future husband Louis XVI, their carriage is attacked by bloodthirsty zombies. The horrific attack is survived only by Albert, who, dowered in his sister’s clothes, continues his way to the royal court of Versailles.

Together with King Louis XV, he decides to take his sister’s place in order to maintain the alliance between Austria and France. The young man is also more than willing to take part in this charade. Being caught between the social intrigues of the court and the battle against the living dead, he also faces sovereignly concealing his own identity and assuming the role of Dauphine. But besides his true gender, he seems to be hiding something far more diabolical …
