Description

Shin Michima is an unsuccessful writer with a tragic family background: his father murdered his mother and two other people. One day, Shin is visited by a woman who has received an invitation to his house. In order to live with him, she has to pay a considerable sum of 1,000,000 yen in rent. In return, Shin is not allowed to ask her questions or enter her room, but he must cook and run errands for her. Soon, four other women turn up who have received the same invitation. But who did they get it from? And why should they accept such an invitation in the first place?

Shin Michima ist ein erfolgloser Autor mit einem tragischen Familienhintergrund: Sein Vater hat seine Mutter und zwei weitere Personen ermordet. Eines Tages bekommt Shin Besuch von einer Frau, die eine Einladung in sein Haus erhalten hat. Um bei ihm wohnen zu können, muss sie eine beträchtliche Summe von 1.000.000 Yen an Miete bezahlen. Im Gegenzug darf Shin ihr weder Fragen stellen, noch ihr Zimmer betreten, muss jedoch für sie kochen und Besorgungen erledigen. Bald tauchen vier weitere Frauen auf, welche dieselbe Einladung erhalten haben. Doch wer hat ihnen diese geschickt? Und warum sollten die Frauen eine solche Einladung überhaupt annehmen?
