Das neue Werk der Autorin von »Orange« dreht sich ganz um den Jungen Taiyo und seine Ambitionen, ein berühmter Musiker zu werden. Zuerst muss er allerdings wie alle anderen auch zur Schule gehen und gute Noten schreiben. Ein Top-Zeugnis ist allerdings seinen Bandkollegen viel wichtiger als ihm, sodass er irgendwann ganz alleine als Ein-Mann-Band dasteht! Eine neue Band muss her und deswegen nervt Taiyo seinen Mitschüler Hikari so lange, bis dieser zustimmt, eine Band mit ihm zu gründen! Ist das der Anfang von etwas ganz Großem? Oder wird Taiyos Traum, ein Star zu werden, wie Seifenblasen platzen?

Der Manga basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Lied der japanischen Band Kobukuro.
