Millionen von Nächten vergingen und der König gebar mit letzter Kraft zwei Prinzen: den roten Prinzen von seinem rechten Auge und den blauen Prinzen von seinem linken Auge. Die Zukunft jedoch wird nur eine sein.«

Diese Geschichte wird von der Sicht der Teufel erzählt und findet in der Welt »Naraku« statt. Da dort nur Teufel leben, sind die Engel vom Himmelreich die Feinde. In Naraku gab es einen mächtigen König, der mit der Regel »nur der Stärkste überlebt« regiert hat. Lange hat er versucht, eine friedliche Welt zu erschaffen, seine Zeit jedoch war beinahe abgelaufen, weshalb er seine Hoffnung in diese zwei Prinzen setzte - Alex und Platina.

Der König hat den Prinzen befohlen, gegeneinander im »Kampf um das Erbe« anzutreten. Ihre eigenen Angestellten zogen sie groß und trainierten sie für den Kampf - während sich Sapphirus um Alex kümmerte, zeigte sich Jade für Platina verantwortlich. Außer des Blutes haben die Brüder nichts gemeinsam. Alex will Platina nicht bekämpfen, doch scheint Platina den Kampf nicht herauszögern zu wollen. Will er wirklich kämpfen? Haben die zwei Prinzen die Kraft, gegeneinander anzutreten? Nur der Stärkste überlebt - wer wird es sein?

Ein junger Mann namens Beryl scheint viel über die Prinzen zu wissen, jedoch bleibt er für die beiden ein Rätsel. Sapphirus und Jade scheinen ebenfalls etwas zu verbergen. Die Prinzen hatten außerdem beide Visionen von verschiedenen Ereignissen und hörten sogar Stimmen in ihren Träumen. Was hat das alles zu bedeuten?
