Chrome Takagi, ein Abgesandter der Armee der Vatikans („Crimson“ genannt), kommt nach Japan, um Akira Nagisa, die „Tochter der Maria“, vor Dämonen und anderen Gegnern des Vatikans zu beschützen. In Akira Nagisa, die für die Wiedergeburt der heiligen Maria gehalten wird, scheinen verborgene Kräfte zu schlummern, die allerdings noch nicht zu Tage getreten sind und auch Chrome Takagi scheint mehr zu sein, als man am Anfang vermutet hat …
