Mei Haruna ist ein Junge, welcher von seiner Mutter als Mädchen großgezogen wurde und denkt er wäre eines. Als sie starb, wurde er zum Vollwaisen und die einzige Bezugsperson, die er noch hat, ist die sprechende Katze Abel. Nun geht er auf ein Mädcheninternat und muss die Tatsache verbergen, dass er Magie benutzen kann. Als er jedoch im Gemeinschaftsbad badet, kommt es dazu, dass er Magie benutzt und seine Mitschülerinnen herausfinden, dass er ein Junge ist. Auf diese Weise stellt auch er selbst fest, dass er ein Junge ist. Trotzdem wird es ihm erlaubt auf dieser Schule zu bleiben und auch seine Mitschülerinnen behandeln ihn wie eine von ihnen. Sie sind vielmehr begeistert von seinen magischen Künsten und so beginnt für ihn ein aufregendes Schulleben.
