Description

After the death of his father, young Hai Ge sets off to join his fiancée Hao Mei in western China. On his journey, he meets a righteous man who calls himself Desert Eagle and offers Hai Ge his support if he ever gets into trouble. Arriving at Hao Mei’s place, she, at first, is reluctant about the arranged marriage with Hai Ge but soon falls for his charms. One day, bandits show up at Hao Mei’s father’s restaurant and try to rape the girl. Hai Ge intervenes and kills one of the attackers, who turns out to be the brother of the notorious Ji Dhao Zhen. The latter swears bloody revenge. Hao Mei’s father wants to persuade his daughter and son-in-law to flee, but the villagers are afraid of Ji Dhao Zhen’s vow of revenge and want to hand Hao Mei over to the bandit. To save the village and Hao Mei, Hai Ge sets off for Desert Eagle to defeat Ji Dhao Zhen together …

Nach dem Tod seines Vaters macht sich der junge Hai Ge zu seiner Verlobten Hao Mei in den Westen Chinas auf. Bei seiner Reise trifft er auf einen rechtschaffenen Mann, der sich Desert Eagle nennt und Hai Ge seine Unterstützung anbietet, sollte er jemals in Schwierigkeiten geraten. Bei Hao Mei angekommen, ist diese zunächst nur wenig begeistert von der arrangierten Hochzeit mit Hai Ge, verfällt jedoch bald dessen Charme. Eines Tages tauchen im Restaurant von Hao Meis Vater Banditen auf und versuchen, das Mädchen zu vergewaltigen. Hai Ge geht dazwischen und tötet einen der Angreifer, der sich als Bruder des berüchtigten Ji Dhao Zhen herausstellt. Dieser schwört blutige Rache. Hao Meis Vater möchte seine Tochter und seinen Schwiegersohn zur Flucht überreden, doch die Dorfbewohner fürchten sich vor Ji Dhao Zhens Racheschwur und möchten Hao Mei an den Banditen ausliefern. Um das Dorf und Hao Mei zu retten, macht Hai Ge sich zu Desert Eagle auf, mit dem er gemeinsam Ji Dhao Zhen besiegen möchte …
