Die Welt im 30. Jahrhundert, es besteht die Möglichkeit der Zeitreisen. Aufgrund vieler Missbrauchsfälle werden die Reisen jedoch relativ zeitnah als »illegal« eingestuft. Für die Kontrollen wird das Time Protection Department gegründet. Trotzdem werden eines Tages 4 junge Mitglieder des Deparments ausgetrickst und es kommt zu einer verbotenen Zeitreise ins 20. Jahrhundert. Um die Auswirkungen auf die Zukunft möglichst gering zu halten, reisen die 4 hinterher, nur um relativ schnell zu bemerken, dass sie für ihre Mission einen Mann zu wenig haben. So verpflichten sie kurzerhand Tatsuya, sich als TimeRed der Bedrohung entgegen zu stellen.
Doch schnell merken die 4 aus der Zukunft, wie sehr ihre Anwesenheit die Zeitgeschichte beeinflusst.
