Jang Soo hat nur Augen für seine Tochter, ob andere Menschen um ihn herum Hilfe benötigen, interessiert ihn nicht. Nach einem Unfall mit einem heftigen Schlag auf den Hinterkopf, ist er in der Lage den Geist des jungen Polizisten Tae Jin zu sehen. Jang Soo glaubt zu halluzinieren und reagiert nicht, doch muss er bald herausfinden, dass Tae Jin im selben Krankenhaus im Koma auf der Intensivstation liegt. Während der Aufklärung eines Falls wurde der übereifrige und hilfsbereite Tae Jin von einem Auto erfasst und schwer verletzt, der Fall liegt seither auf Eis.

Als seine Freundin bedroht wird, bittet Tae Jin Jang Soo um Hilfe: Er soll für ihn den Fall aufklären und seine Freundin beschützen – doch dann erkrankt seine Tochter schwer. Was jetzt?
