Synopsis
Michiyo is an orphan girl born of a liaison between her mother, a geisha, and a customer. Her mother, however, was abandoned by the same customer after her birth. Now that her mother has passed away, she lives with her aunt and uncle in Tokyo. Life is hard, and money is scarce, and when her uncle loses his job, he sells Michiyo as a geisha, just as her mother once was. But as geisha Orie, two men from the upper class fall in love with her at once: Yoshiki and Sakuma. Who will succeed in winning her heart in the end?
