Synopsis
“Zan Saamgwok Mousoeng” is set at the time of the Three Kingdoms in China, beginning with the battle of the Han dynasty against the revolt of the yellow turbans. The film tells the story of the three warlords Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, who – led by their general Dong Zhuo – come to the aid of the Han dynasty. However, after the uprising, the Han dynasty is unable to recover and three kingdoms were founded: The Wei empire, which is located in northern China, the Wu dynasty in the south and the Shu empire in the west. As each of these kingdoms wants to assert its claim to China, a battle for power, fame and the throne begins.
