Synopsis

The young man Taiga Kitamura comes from Toyota, a city in Aichi Prefecture. Therefore, it stands to reason that cars and rallying plays a big role in his life. However, in his case rather in a negative way because he blames his father, an award-winning mechanic, for the early death of his mother in his childhood. Hence, it is no difficult decision for him to go to a university in Tokyo and leave his hometown.

However, during his time in Tokyo, his childhood friend Miho Kamiji reaches out to him to tell him about the news that his father has passed away. So, after many years, Taiga returns to Toyota with mixed feelings. Through various people, who all knew his father, Taiga learns more and more interesting things about the man he despised so much. Then, while standing in his father’s garage, he remembers that his childhood dream as a young boy was to take part in a rally competition with his father. Without further ado, he decides to take part in a race the following day …
