Synopsis

Loh Kiwan, a young man from North Korea, has only one thing on his mind: survival. After a dangerous escape to China with his mother, he loses her to the relentless harshness of the authorities. Alone and hunted, he finally ends up in Brussels, where the icy cold of the streets greets him. With no home, security, or certainty of what the future holds, Kiwan clings to his mother’s last wish: to find a place where he can live freely.

Amid his isolation, he meets Marie, a former Belgian shooter with Korean roots. Once an athlete at the peak of her career, she has lost all meaning in life after a traumatic event. Two lost souls who have been led to the same place by fate.
