Information

Synopsis

After a typhoon, a giant egg washes up on the coast of Japan. The local fishermen claim the find for themselves and sell the egg to a businessman who wants to display it in an amusement park. Shortly after, two tiny beauties show up, claiming it is the egg of the giant moth Mothra. Nevertheless, their request to get the egg back is refused.

However, when the giant lizard Godzilla appears shortly afterwards and begins to lay waste to the coastal areas, journalists Ichirou Saki and Junko Nakanishi, as well as professor Shunsuke Miura, turn to Mothra again with a request for help. But the life span of the giant moth is already nearing its end …
