KommissarTae-Su erhält im fernen Seoul die schreckliche Nachricht vom Tode seines alten Freundes Wang-Jae, der von einer Gruppe aufständischer Punks erstochen wurde. Er reist zur Beerdigung zurück in seinen Heimatort Onsung, wo er auf den Rest der alten Schulclique trifft. Viel hat sich seit seiner Abreise in Onsung verändert: Die Stadt leidet unter den mafiösen Machenschaften Pil-Hos, einem, ehemaligen Schulfreund von Tae-Su und Wang-Jae. Tae-Su vermutet schon bald einen anderen Grund hinter Wang-Jaes Tod und macht sich zusammen mit Seok-Hwan auf den Weg, den wahren Mörder zu finden und Wang-Jaes Tod auf eigene Faust zur rächen …
