Synopsis

Aya, 15 years old, is confronted with the shock diagnosis “spinocerebellar ataxia”.
A disease that manifests itself in increasing movement disorders and a loss of sense of orientation and perception. As it progresses, these symptoms intensify into complete loss of speech and lack of body control, until finally death occurs.

Annotation:
This series is based on a true incident as written down by Aya (19.07.1962 – 23.05.1988) in her diary as far as she could hold the pen. It shows her suffering with the incurable disease and how, despite the inevitable fate, she did not lose her will to live and lived the remaining ten years to the fullest.
