Ryousuke Nakamura is a Japanese screenwriter and anime director who was born on May 27, 1976 in Tokyo Prefecture.
After completing his studies, he began working for the animation studio MADHOUSE in 1999, where he initially worked as an episode director and screenwriter on titles such as “Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting”, “Mirage of Blaze” and “Gunslinger Girl”. After acting as assistant director for the anime “Monster” in 2005, he made his debut as an anime director in 2008 with “Mouryou no Hako”.
Since then, he has also directed the TV anime “Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions” and the feature film “Psychic School Wars”.
