Yu Gong is a Korean actor. He acts in public under his stage nameYoo Gong.
He is currently under contract with the talent agency SOOP Management.
Before starting his acting career, he graduated from Kyung Hee University with a bachelor’s degree in theatre. He then made his acting debut in the television series “School 4” in 2001. After landing supporting roles and a few lead roles in films and series in the following years, it was the lead role as Choi Han-gyeol in the MBC production “Coffe Prince” in 2007 that finally helped him to break through. The series became an absolute audience favourite, and made the 28-year-old a Hallyu film star.
Over the years, Yoo Gong forged his way as one of South Korea’s most popular, influential and critically acclaimed actors.
