Der beste Kumpel von Shunpei, die sich wohl auch schon ein wenig länger kennen. Beide sind zeitgleich ins Team der Karu Ducks eingetreten und sind jetzt seit ungefähr einem Jahr dabei. Arashi ist mehr von der besonnenen Seite und lässt eher Vernunft walten als mit dem Kopf durch die Wand zu gehen. Passend zu seiner Art, ist er der Catcher im Team, was aber auch so seine Tücken mit sich bringt, denn Roboter besitzen in den meisten Fällen wesentlich härtere Würfe als Menschen, was ihn doch gelegentlich etwas zusetzt.
